ST. LOUIS, October 14, 2020 – Stifel today announced that three financial advisors have joined its broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, in a new office in Bridgeport, West Virginia – the firm’s first Private Client Group office in the state.
Joining Stifel in Bridgeport are Ernie Coffindaffer, Nancy Dotson, and Tom Fox. The advisors were previously with Wells Fargo Advisors, where they were responsible for $405 million in client assets.
“We are proud to have Ernie, Nancy, and Tom join Stifel at our new Bridgeport office,” said Kevin Ortmeyer, Managing Director, Central Region. “Their client-centric wealth management practices will fit well in Stifel’s client-first culture. I look forward to their continued success as they enjoy the freedom of serving their clients in the way they and their clients deem best.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to join the Stifel family and to help the firm establish a foothold in West Virginia,” said Mr. Coffindaffer. “Stifel’s client-first philosophy mirrors our own, and we were impressed by the resources and support that are available to us here. And at Stifel, we can serve clients of any size. We’ll never have to worry about clients with smaller account balances being relegated to a call center.”
