ST. LOUIS, October 15, 2024 – Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that financial advisor Jim Kniffin has joined the firm’s Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated broker-dealer subsidiary in Salem, Oregon.
Mr. Kniffin has 43 years of investment industry experience and comes to Stifel from Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for $231 million in client assets. He is supported by Jessica Rubino, Client Service Associate.
“In my extensive due diligence of Stifel, I found that they are a firm that just doesn’t talk about putting clients’ interests first – it is one that actually does,” said Mr. Kniffin. “I felt in the remaining years of my career I wanted to be aligned with a firm that shared my values of a client- and advisor-centered business philosophy, one that could do everything my prior firm could do with a more concierge approach. I am excited to be reuniting with a group of individuals with whom I worked over 40 years ago and who share the same passions as I do – disciplined and peer-reviewed equity research, portfolio construction, and asset management.”
“Many of us have known Jim for years, and we are excited to finally have him on our team,” said Mark McClure, Managing Director. “His business matches perfectly with our portfolio discipline, and he is a marquis addition to our growing team in the Pacific Northwest.”
